PerFect TRIO – Anti-parasitic drops for dogs, 1,6ml (10–20kg)

Composition
Each 1 ml of the product contains active ingredients:
Fipronil – 100,0 mg; Ivermectin – 15,0 mg; Pyriproxyfen – 20,0 mg.
Excipients: Dimethyl sulfoxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Glycerol formal.

 

Use

Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats from ecto- and endoparasite infestations:

● Fleas and their larvae (Ctenocephalides canis/felis, Pulex irritans);

● Lice (Linognathus setosus);

● Fur-eating lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus);

● Mosquitoes of three genera: Aedes mosquito, Culex mosquito and Anopheles mosquito;

● Ixodes spp., Dermacentor spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Boophilus calcaratus) at the imaginal, nymphal and larval stages;

● Acariform mites (Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati, Sarcoptes canis and Cheyletiella spp.);

● Thrombidiform mites (Demodex canis, D. gatoi, D. felis);

● Nematodammillary worms (Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Trichuris vulpis, Uncinaria stenocephala and Ancylostoma spp.);

● Larval microfilariae at the L3 and L4 stages (Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens).

 

Dosage

The drug is prescribed once for adult dogs and cats, puppies and kittens from 3 months of age with a body weight of more than 2 kg. The drug is applied to dry, intact skin of the animal between the shoulders: in cats – on the skin in the neck area, in dogs – between the shoulders and along the spine, and in case of infestation with the ear mite Otodectes cynotis – on the skin of the ear canal. To apply the drug, cut the tip of the pipette, part the animal’s fur so that the skin is visible, place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the pipette several times to transfer the entire contents to the skin.

 

The doses of the drug are:

● Dogs and cats with a body weight of up to 4 kg – 1 pipette of 0.6 ml of the drug;

● Dogs and cats with a body weight of 4-10 kg – 1 pipette of 0.8 ml of the drug;

● Dogs weighing up to 10-20 kg – 1 pipette of 1.6 ml of the drug;

● Dogs weighing up to 20-40 kg – a combination of pipettes of 0.8 ml and 1.6 ml of the drug;

● Dogs weighing from 40 kg – 2 pipettes of 1.6 ml of the drug.

In case of infection of animals with ixodic ticks, the drug is applied in a dose of 1 drop on the tick itself and the place where it is attached to the skin. If the tick does not come off on its own within 20 minutes, it is carefully removed with tweezers. For the treatment of sarcoptic mange in dogs and notohedrosis in cats, the drug is used 2-4 times with an interval of 7-10 days; for the purpose of prevention – 1 time per month.

Treatment is recommended to be carried out in a complex manner using etiotropic, pathogenetic and symptomatic agents. When treating large dogs, the drug is applied to 3-4 areas of the skin. In the treatment of otodectosis (ear itching), PerFect TRIO drops are used once. During the treatment process, it is recommended to clean the ear canal from exudate and fluff, and in case of exacerbation of otitis, an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent is prescribed. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated.

The duration of the protective effect of the drug with a single treatment of the animal is maintained in dogs for ticks – 30 days, in cats – up to 21 days, in dogs for insects – up to 2 months, in cats – up to 1.5 months.

It is recommended to repeat the treatment of animals with the drug during the season of parasite activity according to indications, but not more than 1 time per month. To prevent re-infestation of animals with lice, it is necessary to periodically change or treat the diapers with insecticides in accordance with the instructions for use.

 

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug!

Do not use in puppies and kittens under 3 months of age and in dogs weighing less than 2 kg!

Do not use in sick, emaciated and weakened animals!

Do not use the drug to treat other species of animals, especially rabbits, due to the risk of adverse reactions that can lead to the death of the animals.

Do not use the drug in pregnant animals and during lactation.

The drug is not recommended for use in the following dog breeds: Collie, Sheltie, Bobtail, Scottish Shepherd and their litters, due to the possible neurotoxic effect of the drug composition!
